A beautiful urban park, very well maintained and an excellent place to practice sports, enjoy nature with friends or family. Just be aware when you park your car in the many parking spots around the park, never leave itens on sight in the car as there has been situation of broken glasses in the area. Really enjoyed the walk in the forest, as I would say it's more of a forest then park. The nature is so relaxing! You can escape the busy, stone city and come here to disconnect or just for a long run, as there are lots of trails around which can be used for a jog. Kids will also enjoy this forest. One of the beautiful parks of the Portugal capital. We have visited it with the old tram of the city, which was a pretty nice ride too. The park has beautiful nature, trim and elegant gardens. Really nice park in the middle of lisbon.. Best to reach from benfica station and then just walk.
